Everything's Bigger in Texas

    My name is Carlie Hayes and proud to say that I have been named the Texas Team Do3 Captain. I plan on helping the Texas members to the best of my abilities and making Texas as shining star in Dreaming of Three.
    For those of you not very familiar with Dreaming of Three or Team Do3 I will give you a little insight on this amazing non-profit organization. Dreaming of Three was created by founder Jackie Harris. After losing first her step-father to cancer and then her father to a heart attack within three months of each other she decided to do something to reach out to other families who have had to deal with similar circumstances. Thus, Dreaming of Three was created and is now growing into a nationwide organization to help raise profits for charities including the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and local animal rescue groups. To help raise the funds Team Do3 was developed. It is a team of members from the equestrian and rodeo community who donate a portion of their earnings to a selected charity of their choosing. More and more members are signing up weekly and making a difference.
    Dreaming of Three also sponsors "Rodeo Kids". Children who are battling or won the fight against cancer or disease are chosen to be taken and given a full rodeo experience. Sponsors and members donate gifts to the child as well to make the day extra special.
    I am currently on the hunt to include a Texas charity to be included in Dreaming of Three. I have one particular in mind that is close to my heart but I have not yet made any definite choices. I also would like to get as many Texas companies involved as well. We are looking for companies who would like to offer a discount to TeamDo3 Members or donate a portion of sales to Dreaming of Three. I have already contacted a few companies and am anxiously awaiting their responses. If you know of any companies that would like to get involved please let me know!
    There will be many more endeavors that Texas Team Do3 is looking forward too. I am just currently tackling one task at a time! Check back frequently to stay up to date on everything that is going on for Texas Team Do3 and feel free to ask any questions.
